Are Indian Businesses doing it right with email?

Last week I came across a company we work with and their email was down. When I asked about their email hosting company, it was one of the reputed names.Yay! I got the chance to prove myself!

1. Expensive Plan or Big names do not necessarily mean you are getting top notch web hosting.

2. Check out network uptime history, data plans and more.

3. Most corporates in India use traditional cpanel emails or POP3 to access their emails without any rules in place. I highly suggest its time to use business email such as Microsoft Exchange, Google Apps, Yahoo Zimbra or alike. Gives you a lot of control to scale and manage your business email.

Incidentally, we use google apps at m2mhost, and we totally love it! Another friend recently installed Zimbra on Ubuntu and the reviews so far have been promising. After all, collaboration suites are required for a team, as opposed to traditional approach.
